JOURNEY THROUGH MINECRAFT PART 7 THE FIGHT

we saw a wither we knew what we had to do. why is minecraft being so hard on us my friend said we went and got our swords when we came back the hill was in ruins we started ataking the wither that was a big mistake my friend was in trouble the wither had corned him and was about to shoot I raced up to the top of the hill and leaped at the wither and struck the final blow the wither died and i got a wither star but now i was down to half a heart. I showed my friend the wither star and we raced home. to fined our emeralds we made a tone of emerald blocks. we found that we were one emerald short we went into the mine and saw an emerald and raced to mine it.

trapped in the nether part 3: gast hunters.

we found out a whole bunch of stuff had been added to our crafting manual, quartz swords, quartz bows,quartz armour even quartz tools i looked around and started to mine some quartz i looked in my mob dictionary and there were nether spiders. i killed some while my friend used quartz to make us a house.we both got bows and killed some wither skeletons for arrows witch apparently they started to drop. we started to go looking for a gast in search of gun powder  we found one while we were serching on a nether fortress bridge my friend got blown off it by the gast and landed on a lower bridge nearly dead. i managed to snipe the gast and my friend caught the gun powder then i went down to him and gave him a golden apple he quickly healed then we went back to our house and put the gun powder in the chest that was one of the three thing we needed to craft a flame charge and get back home.

My pet fish

My Pet is a fish. Its a goldfish and its name is Chippies. I named my fish chippies because I wanted to name my fish to have a name which is something unusual and interesting. I am not sure if its a girl or boy. Chippies has been my pet for 1 year and about 2 months. My pet fish lives in a tank. Chippies lives with my sisters fish which is a black fish with huge eyes. Chippies and the other fish like chasing each other and swimming around the tank together. I like Chippies more because I think the other one is a bit lazy. The tank has 1 tree and blue stones. My pet fish got sick once when We went overseas. The people who took care of it fed too much food and it got sick and they didn’t even tell us. Finally we bought this thing that we pour in the tank to take the sickness away. When I feed my fish it catches the food, the other fish never gets the food while its sinking. Whenever I walk past the tank Chippies comes and follows me. If I put my hand/finger In the tank it comes and nibbles it. It sometimes tickles. Only my fish does it. My pet fish is a great pet! It can do so many cool things other goldfish don’t do. I really like my fish. I wonder what is it going to do today?

Stanmore Bay

Stanmore Bay is a very very beautiful beach. It has the best park ever with a flying fox that is the bomb. It’s the best place to go in summer in New Zealand, because then you can go swimming on the exquisite beach. The police force own 9 houses that you can rent out at Stanmore Bay. They are right on the beach. Some are on the ground and some are upstairs.

At Stanmore Bay you can also use kayaks. So then you can go kayaking on the gorgeous water. Lots of people at Stanmore Bay make sand sculptures. Once we found a crocodile sculpture, and it looked amazing. For decoration they used some shells. Another really cool thing about Stanmore Bay is that the shells on the beach are really stunning. Once I found a sea crab lounging in the scorching hot sand.

So thats why I love Stanmore Bay SO MUCH.

TRAPED IN THE NETHER PART 2 we are trapped!

We had just finished the house and we decided to grab some saplings and bone meal and dirt. we also grabed our crafting manual and went to the nether there was a new recipe in the crafting manual quartz pics we crafted some and it was like we were in creative we went through nether brick like nothing.we serched around a bit when decided to come back the portal had been disegnited. and we had no flint and steel we then knew what our mission was.

this morning i woke up to a special sight i was in minecraft and a dog was looking at me in my bed i looked around and the world was just like my world on the computer. i looked around and saw my portal and village and my four story house i looked inside my house and there was a crafting bench and everything i had put there i went into  my mine a noticed something in my chests six diamond i made a diamond sword,pick,and shovel once i had done that i looked down and saw someone mining it was my friend. i called him up and he came to see me he came and i gave him some amour i already had some diamond armor so i gave him iron armor mine had enchanted stuff next we went to the nether and got him quartz and made him a quartz and obsideon house.

JOURNEY THROUGH MINECRAFT PART 6 THE CLEAN UP

He asked us if we needed any help we told him what had happened to us he new were some obsideon was he toke us to it then back to our porthole so we could fix it but then a ghast shot me onto the edge of the bridge then it shot at me again. but my freined leaped in front of the fire ball and deflected the fire ball back at the ghast thanks i said now we can fix the porthole thanks for all your help we said to the king blaze then we left to the overworled when we got back to the overworled we were shocked our place was a mess the fences were smashed the doors were smashed we had a lot to do to get this place back in shape we set to work straight away soon the house was fixed now we had to get the anmiles. back into the pens and then fix up the fences once we had done that it was time to fix and replant the farm but then we herd an explosion over the hill and went to invesigate

Julian: He makes all the Decisions and Rules so he is the Leader of the Group. He just loves Mystery, But you don't won't to see him angry!

Dick: He acts as the Co-Leader of the Group, He does make Decisions, but mostly follows them from Julian too! He gives great Ideas, In one book he had an Idea, he told it to the rest of the group and  they agreed, so he put his plan into action and it actually worked!

Timmy: He is the Famous Five's dog, he is a genius and brilliant. He obeys and Sniffs better than an ordinary dog. He has been great in many cases, and some Mysteries have been solved by him.

Deltora Quest

Deltora Quest is a book about 3 people called Lief, Barda and Jasmine who go on an adventure to save Del. 

There are 8 books in the deltora quest series , The Forest of Silence, The lake of tears, The city of rats, The Shifting Sands, The dread mountain, The Maze od the Beast, The vally of lost and Return to del. 

The quest they are on is to find The  7 gems of the magic belt of  Deltora. They had been stolen by the Evil shadow lord and it was up to Lief to find it. The gems in the magical belt of deltora are: The great Ruby, the golden Topaz, Opal, Lapis Lazuli, Emerald, Diamond, Amethyst. There is a cool thing about the word Deltora cause D is for Diamond, E is for Emerald, L is for Lapis Lazuli, T is for Topaz, O is for Opal, R is for Ruby, And A is for Amystest. The word Deltora is created of two places Del and Tora. Each Stone has a power which helps in certain ways. The Topaz, symebel of Faith, It has the power to connect to the spirit world, The ruby, has the power to change colour when there is danger and and cures snake bites, The Opal is the gem of hope, The Emerald, Stone of truth, The lapis lazuli is a heavenly stone,  The diamond will cast loneliness and sadness if you get in with greed or trick. and gives coarange and strength. The Amyest  Calms and soothes. With all the gems together it will cast power enough to defeat your enemy.

Leif was joined by a guy called Barda who is a friend of his parents and was told to go with him because  because they wanted to protect their son. They were given a hand drawn map of the shadowlands of Deltora to guide them . They first went to the forest of silence and met Jasmine, a girl who has lost her mum and lives alone. They face horrifying beasts, monsters, Evil Shadowlords and Evil children  along the way.  

My Favourite book was The Valley Of The Lost. The series does not end with Lief defeating the Shadow lord, In fact Lief never even Meets him through the whole series. But Lief finds his real parents. 

There is also the 2nd deltora series which continues there adventure, Its called Deltora Quest 2 and their is the 3rd Deltora series too, its called Deltora Quest 3. 

The author is Emily Rodda. She also wrote: The key to Rondo, The the wizard of Rondo,The battle for rondo, The Golden Gate,  The Silver gate, Rowan of Rin, The land of Dragons, The Deltora quest of Monsters, The Ultimate Deltora Quiz book.

So forgetful part 3

‘’ Okay’’ agreed the girl. They both tucked in the bed and slept. The next morning something suprising  happend. ‘ Look! Look! Ice cream!’’ shreiked the girl. ‘’ This one says my name!’’ the mum said and carefully opened it. ‘’ Yum! Strawberry! My favourite!’’ exclaimed the mum. ‘Please be chocolate’’ begged the girl and ripped her ice cream. ‘’Cookies and cream!, my 2nd favourite’’ she exclaimed happily. The boy ripped his. ‘’ Yay! Lime!’’ he cheered. ‘’ I think yours is vanila’’ the girl said. ‘ Hmm. I think its raspberry’’ their mum said. ‘’ I think its... hmm, chocolate’’ the boy said. ‘ I think its lime!’’ the dad said. ‘’ He ripped it. It was cookies and cream. ‘’ Oh! I wish it was lime!’’ he said. They all laughed. ‘Can I have mine?’’ asked the girl. ‘’ Sure!’’ the dad said already eating his.

My Reading Challenge - Draw or Make somethig from your book

For my reading Challenge I choose  the book Deltora Quest - the Forest of Silence. I drew the map they used to guide themselves in the story . Here is a picture of it.

Bubbles, Bubbles...

As far as the eyes can see. Well, almost.
We had a few bubbles and boy were they good!

This morning I asked Room 7 about a wondering question I often have. It was "I wonder if bubbles are always round?" Which started a very good debate in Room 7 and lots of people decided that bubbles weren't always round. Sometimes it depended on what you used to make the bubble with, the shape of the wand that you used and many other factors. Room 7 were pretty convinced that bubbles weren't always round.

But, what makes a bubble a bubble?

We talked about personal bubbles. They are bubbles we all have that help us know how close we like people to be around us. But we can't see them. What shape would they be if we could see them? Would they be round? Does that count in Miss Signal's question. Is that the kind of bubble we were talking about?

So. We decided that we needed to make bubbles to find out. Well, Miss Signal did because it looked like this might be a wondering question that doesn't have an easy answer. (Secretly, we like those kinds of questions in Room 7).

We put all the equipment together (some water and soap) and headed outdoors with our trusty bubble makers... our hands. Miss Signal showed us how to make bubbles with our hands, just like her nana had taught her to do when she was younger. *Sorry parents for any bubble mess that may have happened tonight! 

Next all sorts of excitement was created.  While some students madly rubbed their hands together like they were starting a fire other students were beginning to blow some great bubbles.  The best of the day was BK who was very excited about the bubbles that he blew.  But as the bubbles started coming, we noticed that no matter what shape our hands were in, triangles, diamonds or circles and no matter how long the bubble was when it was blown, it would... eventually... end up as a circle.

So, we were back to the start.  Lots of us changed our minds about bubbles not always being round.  But actually it started a lot of new thoughts and ideas.  But, we still don't have an answer.

So, I wonder if you know?  Why are bubbles always round?

Reading Challenge

This Is my Reading Challenge. In class we have 20 Reading challenges that we can choose from. I chose the 'design a new book cover' challenge. The book I designed a book cover for is, James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.

The reason I put a tree with a big peach and some grass is because it represents the part I enjoyed the most. This is the part where the peach gets really big it falls off. I did this in Pages. I used shapes to create my pictures but the worms and the house I did on kid pix. The house isn't any ordinary house its the horrible Aunties house. I put the worms there because in the book magical worms help James escape from is horrible Aunties.

One of my favorite movies is despicable me do you know why because there are minions in it. My favorite  minions are Carl and Paul because they are funny because they fight each other. Carl has one eye. He try s to be better when Paul but the things he tries to do just makes it worst. Carl is also very silly. And he thinks he very amazing.

JOURNEY THROUGH MINECRAFT PART 5 BLAZE ATACK

That night blazes came through our nether porthole and stated war between us and them. We rushed inside and made dimoned swords and started fighting back it was hard to deflect there fire balls away from our crops and animals but eventuly we had fought off so many that the king blaze came to deal with us himself. But we were smart and lead him into a cage so that we couled harness his blaze rods. come on guys let me out he kept saying so we made him promise not to atack. Us when he agred we let him free. A few days later i noticed that something strange was going on i kept seeing things like the gates to the animals pens. I would leave them closed i then would come back a few munites later and they were open agian. i told my friend he thought that the world was just gliching until today huge disasters started hapning our farms started floding lightning struke our farm and let all the anmiles out then we saw herobrine we knew what we had to do so we grabed as much stuff as posibal got in our minecarts and fled to the nether when we looked back through the nether porthole we saw herobrine he broke one of the obsideon that kept the porthole lit it broke and we were trapped in the nether we broke some of the nether fortres then turned part of it into our house then we saw the king blaze.

''Of Coarse'' Sue said while she held the jar of fruit bursts. Tri snatched a fruit burst and gobbled it up. ''Bad Tri! Say thank you'' said Mellisa. Ted frowned. ''Red!'' Tippi said. Sue gave the last red one to Tippi. Trip frowned. '' I want um green!'' said Trip. '''Good'' Said Ted proudly. Sue 

Passed a fruit burst to  Trip. ''Look! Look!The news! Its on!'' The dads sister said. ''The mayors 

Mayor of the year award has seen broken'' The news reporter said. ''This Was found next to clams bay cave with a mysterious foot print next to it, we now will have a break'' He said. ''Oh!' 'Annoying.' 'Grrr'

'I am so angry!' the people said.  ''We 're back with discoverer Witet Rieraw'' The news reporter said. ''Yea, This was a small foot which mostly belonged to a young girl. We are still researching this mystery and hopefully we'll find Mayer Tagg Peip'' Witet Rieraw said  proudly.

''I'm so worried'' Ted said. ''About what?'' growled Susan. ''Mayer... I mean um Sue son. I mean daughter.'' Ted said. Sue was now crying. ''Just telling my friends cousin is Witet Rieraw so maybe I could get some help Sue'' Said Mellisa. ''Thanks,Thanks,Thanks,Thanks,Thanks! You are the best!'' Sue said cheeringg.''Well where should we start?'' Mouse said. ''Ring your friend Mellisa, Micky start the car, Susana and Ted get spy gear, Susan get some snacks 

and the rest get a clear map  cause we are going to hit the road!'' Yelled Sue. ''Yep'' Ted said. ''Micky Mouse! Get the car keys ,their on the bedroom door'' Sue said. ''YOU! Ted get your car and comeback here.''she said.  ''If you have finished get you cars and come!'' She yelled. Susan looked angrily at Sue and marched away. Later that day the all set to go to 
find Sue and Mouses lost child. Susan, Mouse, Sue,Micky and Mouse's sister went in a Sue's car. 
Mellisa and her family went in Teds car . Cleaner Bob, the mums cousins best friends brothers child's teacher, Mouses boss, Susana. They all went in Susana's car. Tri,Tippi and Trip were all fast asleep.
Micky played some jazz music on the radio while Susan and Sue sang along.
  Mouse took out his banjo and also played along, his sister clapping her hands to the beat.

They all yelled. Sue saw her daughter Aqua standing on the Hill. ''AQUA!'' Sue screamed. ''Mum'' Aqua said 
carelessly. ''Stop the car! Aqua jump!'' Sue yelled. Mouse stopped the car. Sue stretched her arms and legs and climbed. 
''Mum! NO!'' 
Yelled Aqua. ''I am... What!?'' Sue said. ''Don't co....'' Aqua said but something grabbed Sue and pulled her . Sue had disappeared. ''Dad! I'll come not y-you!'' Mumbled Aqua. 
Aqua leaped to the car and sat next to her dad. ''Lets go! I 've got burgers to eat!'' Cleaner Bob said . ''Sue's gone! Sue! She is gone!'' Yelled Susana. ''I had escaped the danger my self but I don't think mum can. Its my fault. I shouldn't have left!
 Now my mums in danger!'' Sobbed Aqua.

Quick get him said my friend said so I threw a potion of slowness at herobrine then quikley freed my friend then we both gt on our horses and started chasing him eventually we had to follow him over a lava pool when we got to the other side I leaped off my horse and grabbed him suddenly he telleported to his mansion since I was holding him my friend and I got transported there too we started to look around then we found him in a corner then he got out a dimoned sword and summoned a wither give us back our diamonds you will have to fight for them herobrine said, if you can kill this wither then you can have them then the wither started shooting at us it got both of us and took us down to 2 hearts of health wait a second i said i have a potion of instant death i threw it at the wither it died and we got back our diamonds then herobrine transported us back home and we cleaned up the mess soon we were back to a happy life but that night.
